1. The pie chart below shows a snapshot of the UK power mix in 2014.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie chart depicts the usage of power resources in the United Kingdom in the year 2014. Overall, the share of many power assets like Hydro, Wind, Bioenergy, Coal, Gas, and so on were consumed in different quantities by the public.

It is noticed that in 2014, Gas and Coal were the most used power resource, amounting to 30% each. Following these two, Nuclear energy is the next used supply that holds an average of nearly 19%, and Wind energy is precisely half of the Nuclear power that is 9.5%. Forthcoming to the next one, on average, 1.7% of the society have utilized Hydro energy, and 1.8% of individuals have used the Solar resource. Last but not least, over 1.8% of people have consumed the other power resources apart from the given ones.

The maps illustrate the evolution of the world from one century to another that includes the transformation of the respective area. Overall, the establishment of many new facilities like Hotels, Restaurants, Fishing bays has made the island with good immunities.

It is pretty evident that in 1997, the island was charming that only the natural resources were visible. In 2017, the same area was revamped with many artificial and needful resources like Hotels, Restaurants, and Fishing Bays. In this drastic change, it is observed that even though society is developing day by day, people are still sticking to many natural resources for their needs. Furthermore, there were no fishing yards in the past, but in the latest map, the individuals have established them to catch fish for their livelihood. On the other hand, as the boarding houses are playing a pivotal role for tourists nowadays, several hotels are built in the town, according to the new map.
