- The minimum age to apply for the ICG Navik GD, DB vacancies is 18 years and the maximum age is 22 years i.e. Born between 1st September 2001 to 31st August 2005 (both dates inclusive).
- Navik (General Duty) Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance
and other allowances based on the nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulations. - Navik (Domestic Branch) The basic Pay Scale for Navik (DB) is 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on the nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
- Candidates belonging to the other categories need to pay Rs. 300/- as an examination fee whereas ST/ SC candidates are exempted from the payment of fees.
Selection Process:
The selection of the candidates will be based on the IV stages of the CGEPT examination.
- Stage I: Written Examination
- Stage II: Physical Fitness Test, Document Verification, Initial Medicals Examination
- Stage III: Document Verification, Final Medicals at INS Chilka, Submission of Original Document, Police Verification, and Other Associated Forms
- Stage IV: Training at INS Chilka
