Job Description:
Barclays is looking for a Software Engineer who will support the acceleration of a new digital platform capability. This role involves transforming and modernizing the digital estate to build a market-leading digital offering with customer experience at its heart.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day Trade and Working Capital initiatives, including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
- Monitor Trade and Working Capital operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align Trade and Working Capital processes.
- Identify areas for improvement in Trade and Working Capital processes and provide recommendations for change.
- Develop and implement procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Create reports and presentations on Trade and Working Capital performance for internal senior stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to implement best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Solid experience in full-stack development technologies (Java, React, API & microservices).
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles, IAM engineering (authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, user lifecycle management), and cloud computing (AWS, Azure).
- Experience in DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform), containerization, and authentication/biometric system design.
