[September 28, 2021, at 12:05 AM]: As there were heavy rains in the coastal areas of the Andhra Pradesh state, the Visakhapatnam International Airport has started facing waterlogging issues. The director of the Airport K Srinivasa Rao has said that this issue has started taking place after releasing the water from Meghadri Gedda Reservoir and the heavy rains are also responsible for this. Following it, he also stated, “As a precautionary measure, fight boardings were delayed for some time but are normal now.”

[September 27, 2021, 8:48 PM]: As heavy rains start hitting the Telangana state, IMD issues a red alert for 14 districts. The alert was issued to Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban), Janagaon, Siddipet, and Kamareddy.

[September 27, 2021, 7:53 PM]: In view of the heavy rain alerts by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the many district officers have already declared the holidays tomorrow. At the same time, the district education officer has issued the instrcutions to close the educational institutions and the government offices on September 28th.
