Job Description:
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Associate Database Engineer – IT in Chennai.
- MSSQL Database Administrator position is part of Data & Analytics Organization and will be responsible for the administration of computerized database.
- Database administrator will be able to administer and guarantee the database integrity and availability of the databases defining and following the best practices, processes and procedures to backup, recovery, monitoring and improvement of the databases performance & stability.
- This individual will also analyze and solve database issues in a timely and accurate fashion, in a regional or global scope.
Job Requirements:
- 0.6 – 1 year of experience with Database Technology preferable with MSSQL
- Works with global and multicultural teams
- Administrative skill on any relational database engine, MS SQL 2012 or higher preferred
- Hands on experience on Remote Monitoring of database servers
- Monitor production systems and provides support for production related issues in a 24×7 environment
- Knowledge of database backup & recovery
- Exposure to VMWare or Virtual Server/ Virtual PC would be added value
- Experience with any cloud database platform is a plus
- Knowledge on MySQL & PostgreSQL is a plus
