Age Limit:
- The age limit for the posts of Navik (GD), Navik (DB), and Yantrik is a minimum of 18 Years and a maximum of 22 years (born between 1st May 2001 to 30th April 2005 both dates inclusive).
Application Fee:
- SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
- All other category candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 250/- through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ Maestro/ Rupay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates is based on an all-India order of merit based on their performance given below
- Stage- I: Written Examination (Computer Based Online Examination), Biometric Recording, and Document Verification (Provisionally Pass or Fail)
- Stage – II: Physical Fitness Test, Document Verification (Provisionally Pass or Fail), and Initial Medicals Examination
- Stage – III: Document Verification (Provisionally Pass or Fail), Final Medicals at INS Chilka and Submission of Original Document, Police Verification, and Other Associated Forms.
- Stage – IV – The candidates who clear Stage III and stand in merit as per the vacancies available will be provisionally shortlisted for training at INS Chilka.
Pay, Perks and Others Benefits.
- (a) Navik (General Duty): Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
- (b) Navik(Domestic Branch): Basic Pay Scale for Navik (DB) is 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
- (c) Yantrik: Basic pay Rs. 29200/- (Pay Level-5). In addition, you will be paid Yantrik pay @ Rs. 6200/- plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
