IndiGo AO&CS Walk-In Drive Overview:
IndiGo, India’s largest and most preferred passenger airline, is looking for candidates to join their Airport Operations & Customer Service (AO&CS) team. The positions involve managing airport activities related to passenger travel, security checks, and ramp responsibilities. Ground staff will play a crucial role in daily operations, ensuring on-time flight departures, handling customer queries, and maintaining high standards of service.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Officer AO&CS – Terminal Service:
- Reservations & Ticketing: Handling reservations, ticket sales, remitting cash, and answering customer queries.
- Departures: Setting up check-in counters, screening baggage, and assisting customers with special requests.
- Arrivals: Assisting with mishandled baggage and preparing necessary reports.
- Post Flight Departure: Filing required flight papers.
Officer AO&CS – Security:
- Maintaining security standards and ensuring effective threat assessment.
- Achieving department goals and following security protocols.
- Performing duties as per the Security Programme and monitoring quality standards.
- Preventing theft and pilferage of company property.
Officer AO&CS – Ramp:
- Managing flight arrival and departure processes, including aligning ramps, handling baggage, and ensuring on-time operations.
- Ensuring all equipment is properly utilized and returned after flight operations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Graduation is mandatory; degree certificate required.
- Skills: Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Other Requirements: No visible tattoos while in uniform, willingness to work in rotational shifts including night shifts, and valid passport. For experienced candidates, previous employment letters and AEP surrender copy are mandatory.
