Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess security vulnerabilities in systems and networks through vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
- Monitor the network for security breaches and analyze logs to detect any suspicious activity.
- Respond to security incidents by investigating the incident and taking appropriate action to contain and mitigate the situation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities in the organization’s systems and networks.
- Identify and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends and develop and implement proactive countermeasures.
- Keep up to date with the latest security technologies and best practices.
- Document and report vulnerabilities and remediation steps taken.
- Monitor network performance and identify and troubleshoot network issues.
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Generate regular reports on the performance and status of the network.
- Keep up to date with the latest network technologies and best practices.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and technologies
- Familiarity with network management protocols such as SNMP and NetFlow
- Knowledge of security best practices and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CEH are a plus
- Hardware & Networking, Firewall, IPSEC VPN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, Switching, NMS, Windows Server
