Job Description:
As part of YouTube’s Trust and Safety team, you will work to protect users and ensure the integrity of YouTube products. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating abuse, fraud, and harmful entities across Google products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex data analyses to detect harmful entities, design key performance metrics, and identify system vulnerabilities.
- Analyze malicious websites and software to understand their behavior and impact on users.
- Collaborate with teams such as Engineering, Product, and Legal to enhance system accuracy and address product loopholes.
- Understand Google’s product policy and risk strategy to identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Handle sensitive content, which may include graphic or controversial topics.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends and generating insights from data.
- 1 year of experience in managing projects, defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in abuse or fraud detection or web security.
- Knowledge of internet operations (economic, social, technical).
- Ability to prioritize stakeholder demands in a fast-paced environment.
