25,000 TCS Employees Left Before Getting Identity Cards in the Last Year Hiring

TCS to end Work From Home Culture: 25,000 hired during pandemic quit before getting ID cards. The process of eliminating the culture of working from home (WFH) is being planned by TCS, the country’s largest IT company. It also announced the end date of Work From Home for its employees as 15th November 2022.

As per the official reports of TCS, about 20 to 25% of the company’s overall employees have returned to work from the office.

The Chief Operating Officer of the firm N Ganapathy Subramaniam said they hired 100,000 people last year. But unfortunately, the 25,000 workforce who joined the TCS Corporation remotely had decided to resign from their employment with the firm permanently without even taking their ID cards and seeing a TCS office.

The COO of the TCS also said that he felt sad for employees leaving the organization who joined remotely. And they might value TCS better if they work from the office rather than working remotely.
